Reap the benefits
All the recent contemplative practice exercises we have recently acquired have been immensely beneficial. It was pretty hard to pick just two. I practiced them all again and I think that the subtle mind exercise, that helps us establish a still and quiet mind free from busy, chaotic thoughts can be more easily remembered and practiced without having to go through the guided audio. With that said the other two that I found most helpful are the loving-kindness exercise and the visualization practice. These are great for any time of day and any present mood we may be in. They help us to recenter our thoughts and feelings into positive, loving, happy thoughts that are beneficial to our health and the lives of everyone that we encounter. To foster a kind of regular mental fitness, I would schedule in times of the day to practice these exercises just as I would a physical fitness workout. Every other day or daily depending on the exercise and I would practice this accordingly in a relaxing place that allows relaxation. Morning time would be the time frame I would suggest for both of these that way it is fresh in your mind and you can carry out your day with these positive feelings. Relaxation and meditation are also good for morning but I prefer to wind down at the end of the day with these.
